SAVE THE DATE: Global Fund webinars for civil society in EECA on the role of community led responses in achieving the 1st UNAIDS 95% target

In advance of the first submission windows for the Global Fund 2023-2025 allocation period, and in response to bottlenecks in achieving the 1st UNAIDS 95% target and issues discussed in different regional meetings, the EECA CRG platform in collaboration with Global Fund have the pleasure of organizing the following webinars aimed at clarifying applicant guidance, sharing good practices and encouraging an exchange among countries in the region:

  • Webinar 1: Community-led and based prevention and testing services, 10 March, 14:00 – 15:30 GVA  
  • Webinar 2: HIV and migration, and PrEP, April (date TBC)

The agenda of the webinar on 10 March includes:

  • Role of community-led and based prevention and testing services in reaching first 95% (Matteo Cassolato, Technical Adviser, Key Populations, CRG, Global Fund Secretariat)
  • Harm reduction services and the role of testing as part of them (Daniel Wolfe, Adviser, Harm Reduction, CRG, Global Fund Secretariat)
  • Discussions, including sharing of experiences from countries in the region

Webinars will be organized in English with simultaneous translation into Russian.
