Anton Basenko, member of Stakeholders Task Force on preparation of program of Civil Society Hearings before High Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS 2016 in New York shared final approved version of program.
Speakers from EECA region will be:
- Sergey Votyagov (Lithuania, Eurasian Harm Reduction Network) in session on “finance”
- Sveta Moroz (Ukraine, Eurasian Women’s Network on AIDS) in session on “communities’ role in successful partnership”
This meeting is supposed to be the last “Constitution to fight HIV/AIDS for all countires in the world” with which we will win this disease.
Anton also dirves our attention to the fact that majority of events and activities this year (including Commission on Narcotic Drugs ( HYPERLINK “https://www.unodc.org/unodc/commissions/CND/”CND HYPERLINK “https://www.unodc.org/unodc/commissions/CND/”) which is in progress now and upcoming UNGASS HYPERLINK “http://www.unodc.org/ungass2016/” on Drugs) clearly pursue one aim – New Political Declaration!
This is why it is so important fot communities and civil society to actively contribute on all levels and stages!
