HIV & WOMEN 2019
The international Workshop on HIV and Women has now completed its 8th year and continues to evolve. It is an outstanding opportunity for health care providers, researchers, government, industry and community to discuss, debate, and further their knowledge on the issues related to HIV and women.
The format of the meeting enables attendees to learn from experts in the field of HIV and related health, and then to dialogue on the issues, the gaps and the opportunities for further learning and research. Many of the attendees come each year and have formed valuable relationships and partnerships which has led to collaborative projects.

Global Fund’s new HIV and TB multicountry grants in EECA begin implementationThe Global Fund Board has recently approved several multicountry grants, whose aim is to address priorities “deemed critical to fulfil the aims of the Global Fund 2017-2022 strategy,” and to address needs that are not being fulfilled by national (single country) allocations. Berlin to host 11th IAS Conference on HIV Science in 2021IAS 2021 will take place at Messe Berlin on 18-21 July 2021. It is expected to convene 6,000 scientists, clinicians, public health experts and community leaders from over 140 countries. Read more
EKHN has announced an open Request for Proposals for 2019 Small Grants Program “GENDER and HIV”Eurasian Key Populations Health Network (EKHN) invites proposals from Balkans, Eastern European and Central Asian (BEECA) civil society organizations scaling up access to gender oriented, sensitive and/or transformative HIV prevention, treatment, care and support and assuring that resources are mobilized and utilized appropriately to respond gender gap in HIV epidemic for TRANSGENDER (TG) communities.
