Webinar: PILnet – Pro Bono Legal Support available for CSOs in Eastern Europe and Central Asia

PILnet collaborates with civil society organizations around the world to arrange free legal assistance from volunteer lawyers from top global firms who have the relevant skills and expertise to bolster their operational health and resilience and to advance their missions. PILnet’s services are available to all public interest/social justice organizations, charities, social enterprises or community groups that are independent, nongovernmental and nonprofit in need of access to pro bono services.
The webinar will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the PILnet, how CSOs in EECA, including those involved into implementation of the Global Fund’ HIV and TB grants, can access free legal support and hear about the examples of already available resources.
When: 22 of September 2025, 11.00 Kyiv \ Vilnius time. Duration – up to 1 hour.

- About PILnet: A brief overview of PILnet mission, its global and regional initiatives, and how PILnet supports civil society through legal empowerment – 10 min (PILnet)
- The Clearinghouse: An explanation of how CSOs can access free, high-quality legal support from the law firms and lawyers. Presentation of how the Clearinghouse operates, the types of legal support available, and how to submit a request – 10 min (PILnet)
- Existing Resources & Case Examples: Showcasing the examples of already available resources such as – guides, research, etc, created through pro bono partnerships with the law firms, covering topics such as employment, banking, as well as relocation, safety, security and human rights defense and more – 10 min (PILnet)

The webinar is organized jointly by the PILnet and the Eurasian Harm Reduction Association as a host of the EECA Regional Learning Hub.
