Six Regional Learning Hubs, supported by the Community Engagement Strategic Initiative (CE SI) jointly convene a webinar to unpack Global Fund GC8 guidance for TB from communities’ perspective, with the aim to translate global guidance into accessible information and to support communities to engage strategically and confidently in GC8 processes.
Webinar objectives
- Increase awareness and understanding of the GC8 modular framework and prioritization guidance for TB, including program essentials and key shifts.
- Provide guidance on new health products and innovations for GC8 such as accelerating the introduction, scale-up of health products and unlocking budget efficiencies.
- Raise awareness on key opportunities in GC8 in reducing equity, human rights and gender-related Barriers to TB services.
- Strengthen the capacity of CSOs, CBOs, and communities to engage in GC8 funding request development, including prioritization of key interventions.
Organizers: 6 Regional Learning Hubs led by the EECA Regional Learning Hub hosted by the Eurasian Harm Reduction Association.
Languages: simultaneous interpretation to English, Arabic, French, Russian, Portuguese and Spanish will be provided.

Services for migrants and refugees from Ukraine – HIV/TB care with a focus on key populations
Due to the increasing flows of refugees from Ukraine because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the EECA Regional Platform created a spreadsheet to fill contacts details of face-to-face and online services for refugees and migrants (with a focus on HIV/TB care and key population groups).
