Regional Learning Hubs
Regional Learning Hubs were established by the Global Fund in six regions of the world in 2014. Currently, they are operating within the 3-year phase (2024-2026) of the Community Engagement Strategic Initiative.
The primary objective of the Regional Learning Hubs is facilitating timely access to information, technical support, and relevant peer learning and exchange among communities and civil society to strengthen the leadership and engagement of communities most affected by HIV, TB, and malaria in Global Fund and related national processes throughout the grant cycle.
Scope of work and target audience
- Learning Hub activities cover Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries with active Global Fund HIV and/or TB grants.
- The Learning Hub is targeted at working with civil society organizations and communities affected by HIV and TB from such EECA countries.
- The EECA Learning Hub team offers support in strengthening the meaningful engagement of civil society and community representatives in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Global Fund-funded programs in EECA.
Ensuring access to support available within the Global Fund CE Technical Assistance Program
One of the aims of the Regional Learning Hub is to raise awareness among civil society and communities about technical assistance opportunities available under the Global Fund CE TA Program, and to assist interested parties in the development of quality TA requests for CE Technical Assistance.
If you have any questions about completing the application form, or if you need advice on the possible content and/or quality of the request, please contact the Regional Learning Hub. Starting from 2021, the Global Fund requires applicants to contact the Regional Learning Hub in their region for assistance in shaping the request prior to submission to the Global Fund.
Note: the EECA Learning Hub team cannot influence whether the request will be approved by the Global Fund Secretariat or which technical assistance provider will be assigned to the request.
