Webinar on the WHO review of National TB Programmes

On April 22, 2021, from 14:00 to 15:30 Kyiv time (please check your time zone) TBEC in partnership with the WHO Regional Office for Europe, invites civil society and TB-affected community form EECA countries to join in the capacity building online event: Exploring practical opportunities for civil society (CS) and TB-affected community through WHO National TB Program (NTP) reviews to improve collaboration and accountability.

Highlights of the online event:
- Comprehensive concept overview of the WHO NTP Review;
- The importance of assessing the engagement of civil society, non-governmental, and community-based organizations in TB response as part of NTP Review;
- The role and input of the CS and TB-affected community as a part of the NTP Review Team;
- Collaboration strengthening and advocacy opportunities provided for CS and TB-affected community through WHO NTP reviews;
- Practical recommendations and experience sharing from representatives of CSO and TB-affected community who was part of the NTP Review Team.

Due to the increasing flows of refugees from Ukraine because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the EECA Regional Platform created a spreadsheet to fill contacts details of face-to-face and online services for refugees and migrants (with a focus on HIV/TB care and key population groups).
