The Global Fund invites qualified organizations to submit proposals to join a technical assistance (TA) pool under the GC8 Human Rights and Gender Strategic Initiative (HRG SI).
Human rights- and gender-related barriers to HIV, TB and malaria services remain a major constraint to the effectiveness and impact of national disease responses and Global Fund grants, increasing vulnerability to the three diseases and limiting access to lifesaving services and new innovations. Technical support provided through the pool will contribute to the implementation of high-quality programs that address these barriers during the period January 2027 to December 2029.
Technical assistance will be completed through direct support to implementers of programs to reduce human rights- and gender-related (HRG) barriers to health services and promoting an enabling operating environment for Global Fund grants in close collaboration with relevant in-country stakeholders, the Global Fund and technical partners.
Eligible EECA countries to be covered by TA under this initiative: Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine.
RFP closing date: 20 November, 2026
