Apply for a grant with Mama Cash
- Post Views: 0
The application window is not relevant for current grantee-partners wishing to apply for renewal during the course of 2016.
Mama Cash supports ambitious feminist and women’s rights organisations and initiatives led by and for women, girls and trans* people.
Mama Cash has a set of criteria for funding, including the three thematic fields: Body, Money, Voice and prioritises groups and initiatives that have an annual budget below 200,000 euros. We advise groups wishing to apply to consider the Mama Cash selection criteria and priorities.
The Letter of Interest format is available here.
Mama Cash also supports women’s funds. For more information about the criteria and priorities for women’s funds, please check our section for women’s funds.
Mama Cash is a fund with limited resources, thus it pays much attention to the criteria and priorities in the selection process. For 2016, they expect to approve grants to approximately 20 new groups, in addition to the planned renewal grants to current grantee-partners.
Mama Cash moved from having a rolling application system when groups could apply at any time of the year, to having a time-limited application window, in 2014. Please consult the section with Frequently Asked Questions about their grantmaking cycle for background information on this change.
