Elton John Aids Foundation
If you are a registered not-for-profit or charitable organization in the Russian Federation or Ukraine and you match the Elton John Aids Foundation’s funding priorities, you may apply for one of these 4 types of funding options, depending on the nature of your grant, its size and goals.
KEY VULNERABLE POPULATIONS related
- PIONEER GRANTS
A Pioneer Grant supports a specific initiative focusing on an individual key population at higher risk – such as men who have sex with men (MSM), sex workers and injecting drug users – within an individual country.
- FLAGSHIP GRANTS (by invitation only)
A Flagship Grant targets a specific vulnerable group through a number of related initiatives within an individual country.
Such programmes will look to genuinely ‘close the gap’ for a specific vulnerable group by engaging in a number of activities ranging from service delivery to advocacy.

LARGE SCALE & GRASS ROOTS INITIATIVES
- SUPPORT GRANTS (by invitation only)
These are grants which drive momentum towards an AIDS free future because they have the potential to have an impact on large numbers of people.
Support Grants will be targeted at groups within the general population such as adolescents, children, women and girls.
- ROBERT KEY MEMORIAL FUND
We also provide small, one-off grants to grassroots initiatives that deliver tangible, immediate benefits to people living with HIV.
This fund is open for application all year round.
