MSINGI Study: Building the Foundation for Community Power in a Changing Global Health Landscape

Please complete the survey here.

The recently launched Msingi Study is inviting communities and civil society to document what integration, transition, and sustainability really mean for health services, advocacy, and accountability; and to shape the future of community engagement in Global Fund Grant Cycle 8 and beyond.

Across countries, communities are witnessing declining donor funding, increasing domestic financing expectations, integration of disease programs into broader health systems, transitions away from donor support and shifting accountability structures. These changes are creating both opportunities and challenges for community-led programs, services and advocacy.

The Study (Msingi meaning “foundation” in Swahili) has been launched to ensure that community voices remain at the center of these conversations.
